Gavel Club Starts

Thank you for your support of these community outreach projects.  We actively give back to our community in communication and leadership service: 
  • GPTV-volunteer night
  • 100 Black Men of Decatur Public Speaking Project
  • Dekalb County Juvenile Court Speaking Program 2009
  • The Gavel Club
Gavel Club 
The Beulah Baptist Gavelliers Gavel Club re-starts in January 2010.  Brenda Steele, Gavel Club coordinator, is ecstatic that the youth speaking Club is set to start.  Newspaper announcements have been submitted for this is a youth community Club.

The Gavel Club, sponsored by Dawn-Breakers Toastmasters, opens its membership to students age 11-18.  The Club will meet on Tuesday evening at 7:00 at the Family Life Center in the same room that Dawn-Breakers meet. The first meeting is January 19th.

Invite youth in the targeted age range to participate.  FREE membership.
